Diotrephes...still a plague

3 John 9-11
"I have written something to the church, but Diotrephes, who likes to put himself first, does not acknowledge our authority. So if I come, I will bring up what he is doing, talking wicked nonsense against us. And not content with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers, and also stops those who want to and puts them out of the church. Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; WHOEVER DOES EVIL HAS NOT SEEN GOD."

Yes, it is evil to deny the authority of Scripture, the Apostles writings, the inspired writings of the Bible. More and more, one by one, one after another, they deny Holy Scripture. In this context John says whoever does evil has not seen God.

I pray for the plague of Diotrephes to be lifted off these men, and that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts. And out of their mouths will come praise to God for His grace and mercy, and praise to God for His revelation, the Holy Spirit Inspired Scriptures.
